Michaela Petti

Michaela Petti, 14, grew up in a Jehovah’s Witness household with older siblings who, like Michaela, began wrestling with issues of their own family’s faith.  In Michaela’s film, FINDING FAITH, she profiles three stories of individuals whose religious beliefs were challenged, undone, and/or rediscovered.  Her own brother, a transgender man, participates as one subject in the film.  Michaela is a student at Palmer High School.  She is interested in continuing filmmaking while pursuing a four-year liberal arts education
