SPARK & KILN on the Festival Circuit

 

GUTHRIE - Capture SparkAndKilnSPARK & KILN, featuring Colorado Springs artists Don and Maxine Green, will be presented at the Nacogdoches Film Festival, February 25-27, 2016 in Nacogdoches, Texas, at the 11th Annual Durango International Film Festival, March 2-6, 2016 in Durango, Colorado, and at the Clean Shorts Film Festival in Chocktaw, Oklahoma April 1-2, 2016.

SPARK & KILN answers the question, “Does creativity have an expiration date?” According to the Greens, who have been making art for the past fifty years, the answer is “No.”

Written and directed by Donna Guthrie, SPARK & KILN, was produced  with the help of fellow filmmakers Mona Adelgren and Nancy Bentley.

GUTHRIE - HeadshotIn Nacogdoches, SPARK & KILN will be screened Saturday February 27, 2016 between 2-5pm in Stephen F. Austin State University Baker Pattillo Student Center Theater.

SPARK & KILN has also been shown at Another Independent Film Festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

 

SPARK & KILN was completed as a project of the Documentary Film Production Bootcamp, a course offered through the Bemis School of Art, in conjunction with the Youth Documentary Academy.
