THIS WEDNESDAY

Over 34 million Americans — 10 percent of the population — identify as multiracial. Despite being one of the fastest growing segments, mixed race youth often feel overlooked by mainstream society and are more likely to have poorer mental health outcomes than their mono-racial counterparts.

Come meet Sierra Buah who explores the challenges and opportunities of being mixed race — and one of few black students — at The Air Force Academy High School in her film THE SPECTACULAR QUIET. Then in SMALL STEPS, Marcus Salazar navigates being black and latino while being raised by his white grandmother. Coming-of-age and race, this Wednesday at 6pm!
