When I first applied Trinity Film Festival, my expectations of other competition was very high. After sharing my film with a new audience, I have grown more confidence in my skills as a filmmaker. It was great realizing that of hundreds of other entries, mine was one of the 23 chosen. Watching those other films was a great experience and I got to meet some other fantastic filmmakers. The great thing about festivals is that even if you don’t win anything, it is still one of the best opportunities to network and meet other people in the industry. I absolutely plan on attending more festivals because I plan on staying in the film industry, meeting others and hearing their stories in film. It is a one of a kind experience.
