On February 8, the Ent Center at UCCS and the Youth Documentary Academy present a day and evening of film that addresses the critical issues of our time: destigmatizing mental health, colorism, immigration, intergenerational trauma and gender. Curated by the UCCS Social Work Club, these short documentaries inspire intergenerational dialogue and will be followed by discussion panels with the now-young-adult filmmakers, faculty of the social work school and moderated by the director of Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership. Tickets are free but registration is required. Click below to save your spot!

Conversations will continue in the lobby, facilitated by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Department at UCCS, offering the audience an opportunity to share thoughts and connect over snacks. This event, featuring both afternoon and evening blocks, transcends typical film screenings, providing a unique space for both intimate reflection and collective engagement.
